Family Blueprint

We believe that discipleship starts in the home. Out of 168 hours in the week, families spend no more than a handful at church. During the coronavirus season, that time is further diminished or even non-existent. By following God’s blueprint in His Word, our family units can thrive as disciples of Jesus and make disciples wherever they are.

What exactly is Family Blueprint?

Family Blueprint is a resource ministry for your family… all done in-house here at Salem! Each month will be structured around a relevant theme to help your family become all that God has called you to be! Through a variety of videos, podcasts, blog articles, and giveaways we will emphasize a monthly theme.

Wisdom: Pass it Down

I have hunch that when March Madness rolls around, you and your family are filling out brackets, turning on the game, and cheering on your favorite team. Especially being in the Triangle, the month of March means seeing a lot of red and different shades of blue. It’s always an interesting dynamic when a house […]

Is Singleness too hard?

Yes, I know what you are thinking. Why is a married man writing a blog post about singleness? I have wondered the same thing. If you are single and reading this you might wonder what I know about the struggles of singleness or when I talk about the struggles of marriage some of you may […]

February is here and with it, a new theme for Family Blueprint! We want to help our church family discover the importance of Relationships in our discipleship path. God said “it is not good for man to be alone” (Gen. 2:18) because he made us to be relational as our Triune God is relational. He […]

January Theme: Generosity & Stewardship

Happy New Year Salem! We’re entering 2021 thankful for God’s blessings on us. As we reflect on God’s goodness and sovereignty, we realize that all good things come from above (Jas. 1:17). Everything belongs to him. A God-centered perspective helps us properly understand how to use our resources! Take a look as Wesley and Josh […]
